Love July!!

Ok. I know a lot of people love July! But I especially love July! 1st of all, I have always loved the 4th of July! To me, nothing says summer like fireworks and town festivals. 2nd reason for loving July, it's our wedding anniversary. This July 12th will be our 14th year as man and wife! I so love my husband and married life. 3rd, and this one is kind of sad for me now. The night before we married my husband bought me a mini Dachshund, he named him George. (I'm going to get sidetracked here so I'm going to go ahead ahead and apologize now).For 2 1/2 years Georgie was our only child. He was spoiled rotten, he was my baby! This year will be our 1st anniversary without our 1st born son, my poor Georgie got real sick last year na d had to be put to sleep in August. I was (and still am) heartbroken! It has ALWAYS been us 3! The day we married it was the 3 of us, the day we moved into our home it was the 3 of us! Georgie knew I was pregnant before I knew I was pregnant! It was the 3 of us as we brought home the boys (a week apart) from the NICU. It had been the 3 of us and then became the 5 of us but always had been the 3 of us!! The day I had to have him put to sleep, my husband was out of town... That was the hardest day of my life! And bless Georgie sweet sweet little heart, as I was falling apart driving to the vet's office with my 1st born pup in my lap he looked up at me with those big sweet brown eyes as if to say "it's ok Mama, I'm really sick." As I write these words I'm falling apart all over again. Only God knows how much I miss my boy and how broken my heart truly is...Again, I want to apologize for going off subject, but my love of July couldn't be discussed without one of the most important reasons why I love it and that leads to the sad parts too! But I do love July ! For it brings fireworks, brought me a husband and a sweet little dog that will always be "Mama's Boogieman"!
